Every Thursday night at 9:00 EST on the channel USA, a great high action, spy tv show is waiting for you to watch them take down the bad guys of Miami, Florida. Mike, Fiona, and Sam are like clockwork beating bad guys and finding information to save themselves, and others from harm. Mike Westen is a spy who was burned, meaning he has no job, no money, his bank accounts are frozen, and he landed in Miami with nothing to his name except some sunglasses. In this intense show, Mike talks through the gadgets he makes and their plans, with many surprises you don’t see coming. They make bombs, traps, and blow up at least 3 things every show. He does some real great undercover work and has a romance with his co-spy, Fiona. Mike is the brains, Fi is the bombs, and Sam is the booze it’s a great show for teens, boys and girls. You can visit their site to learn more about them at Burn Notice!.  I highly, highly recommend this show for families at night when you need some time to relax, make sure to check out seasons one and two on DVD as well!

There are alot of scams out there that promise $1000 in the first week of your time. They are false here are some sites and descriptions that are legit and easy to do.

Squishy Cash- I am normally very skeptical about sites like this, i’ve been doing it for 15 minutes and have already earned $5.35. You complete offers, shop, and play “Squishy Slots” in order to earn money. This is one of the only sites that’s actually worked for me as for completely offers and such. Google AdSense- You have to put in an application, and then you put ads on your site and get money for the clicks, ad revenue. One of the best ad earning sites

eBay- Sell items online and get paid through PayPal. It costs a small fee to sell, but it’s worth it. Many people bid on your item and you sell for the highest bid. You can also set a “Buy it Now” price and thats how much it will sell for. If you’re not sure what price you want to sell it for but don’t want it to go below a certain price you can set a reserve to save it. Your product won’t sell if the reserve isn’t met. It’s a fast and easy way to get rid of old things and get extra money.

Craig’s List- Is a job search, for sale, services offered, all around site. You can find services, jobs, items for sale, and even small gigs needed in your state or province. You have to contact the buyer in this case, but it’s probably cheaper than eBay, seeing as there are no bids.

Moola- An online gaming site that offers blackjack, gold rush, hi-lo, dice poker, rock paper scissors, five card draw and more. You place a bet before the start of the game for example: Risk $.01 and Win $.02 and each money amount you risk doubles if you win that game. The most i’ve risked was $.32 and i’ve won $.64. I only started a week ago and I have almost 3 dollars. Which is alot compared to the one cent you start out with. You will also get a $.30 bonus if you sign up using the “Moola” link.

I’ve always wanted something like the Sim’s but not raunchy or super expensive. I looked online and found this game on Big Fish Games HERE.. I started playing it a few weeks ago and I’m already on the start of the 5th generation. Most people search looking for codes and how to do things so this will have some How-to’s in it.
First things first, Virtual Families was created by Last Day of Work. Who have also made Virtual Villagers 1,2, and 3. Fish Tycoon and Plant Tycoon. I also love these games too. Virtual Families is made in real time so you must must MUST pay attention to them or at least feed them everyday. That also means letting them rest at night for at least 8 hours. Each person has it’s own unique personality, likes and dislikes. If they want kids or if they don’t. They all have jobs from a beginner silverware polisher to a computer programmer. Anything you like. The game starts off with one person and you have to go to the computer when an email symbol shows up in the corner and read your email, sometimes if you’re not marrried its a proposal from someone and you can choose to marry or reject the wanna-be lover. There are many random events throughout the game and you need to download it to find out more!

How-to’s:

Floor Repair: In the store under varied items you will find a floor repair kit, buy it and put it on the part of the floor that needs repaired. Drag a member of the family to start fixing it.  After the repair is complete it will disappear, you need to buy a new one for every repair needed.

Wall Repair: The wall on the workshop needs repaired too, first you need to go to the varied items in the store again. Buy the Wall Repair Compound, drop that by the hose near the sandbox and drag a member of the family to mix it with water and they will carry it over to the wall. You drag a person on the bucket to begin repair.

Fixing the Router: Drag and drop an adult on the internet box and they will fix it, you will know it’s fixed if the red light turns green

Opening the Shed Door: Go to the sandbox and pick up the door handle, they will take it to the barn and put it on. Next, drag a person to the welcome mat at the front door to get the key and they will open it up. Now, you have access to the fire extinguisher and the watering cans.

Fixing the Bird Bath: FInd a fountain pump in the varied items in the store, drag and drop it by the bath. but first you need to have two people. Drag them both to the bird bath and one will lift and and the other will install the pump.

Fixing the Leaky Hose: Go to the varied items in the store and buy water proof tape. Drop the tape but the hose towards the back of the house and have an adult sit there while another adult uses a sink to decrease water pressure so the hose can be fixed.

Pulling Weeds: Drag and drop any family member on a weed and they will take it to the recycling bin.

Emptying the trash: Drag and drop any family member on the wastebasket and they will take it to the trash cans by the recycling bin.

Putting out at oven fire: Have someone acknowledge the fire and go to the shed and get the fire extinguisher, it may take more than one trip.

Fixing a leaky sink, shower, or toilet: Go to the workshop and put a person on the workshop toolbox on the left wall.

Chasing gophers: The status of the child will say playing in the yard but they will be beside the birdbath and you’ll see little cartoon gophers coming out of holes, praise them for that and get a trophy.

Picking up Colletibles: There will be a variety of collectibles in your yard. Old coins, bugs, twigs, and pieces of a picture. Coins, twigs and nuts, and the picture pieces come out any time so you have to keep your eyes out, but the bugs only come out in the rain. They don;t everytime but that is the only time you can find them. If you pick up a collectible and you already have stored it in your drawer, then you will sell it online for a price of 5, 15, or 50 dollars depending on the rarity.

Making Babies: If you drag a male onto a female or vice-versa they will either make a baby, argue about making a baby or say it’s too soon to make a baby. They will still be able to very soon if they are arguing about it, just keep dragging them to each other and they will give in, if it says it’s too soon then they will not make one for a while. You will know immediately after the girl stops jumping on the bed if you are proud parents, you can try as many times as you want but can only  have a maximum of 6 kids.

New Generation: You can start a new generation in the “Family” tab after one of your parents has died, it’s okay if one is still living you can either let them die or not.  It doesn’t hurt them at all once you start a new generation. In a new generation you get to pick from your kids, which one you want to live in the house now. They inherit all the upgrades and money you leave them.

House upgrades: You can choose from a minor upgrade in the home improvement section of the store to make your people happier and have an easier life, and you can choose a room upgrade as well, level 2 or 3 for the kitchen, office, or workshop. Each time you upgrade it makes your person progress through their career levels faster to get higher salaries.

Overall Virtual Families is a 5/5. It makes you feel responsible for a real family without all the excess stress. If you have a question or comments please leave them!

Have you ever watched a movie and thought that you’ve seen it before?
That’s what I thought when I watchedThe Proposal with Sandra Bullock, that it was too much like I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry. In ‘Chuck and Larry’, both of the men work together and have to get married in order for Larry to go around the government, they get evaluated by a social worker and in the end are found to be faking it, go to jail then have to make a gay calendar in order to leave jail, everything turns out happy. This is shockingly close to what happens in The Proposal.

In order for Andrew’s boss to stay in the U.S. and avoid deportation to Canada she has to be married so Andrew is blackmailed into marrying her because she said she would take his career away. In order to prove to the immigration office that she really is marrying him she goes to Alaska to see his family, the worker shows up there when they are about to get married (because his Gammy is 80 and wanted the wedding) she confesses at the atlar about their scam, then disappears. Andrew follows her and they end up getting married and living happily ever after…

They are both great movies but I would recommend only seeing one or the other, they really have the same story line, if your a guy I’d recommend seeing ‘chuck and larry’. For a girl, “The Proposal”  because it’s a chick flick.

With todays economy going down you need to save a little here and there, I’ve looked up and found some coupon sites you can buy almost anything online and use the coupons on these sites to get discounts for example you can go to Savings.com and search a book, then a list of sites will come up. You can go to borders and get your favorite item for 25% off, which is different than if you would have just gone to the store to buy. Many of the coupons are online only, but it still saves you money in the long run. Alot of sites on Savings.com offer free shipping also.

Another site is FabulousSavings.com. This site will also give coupons for mostly online use, but you can search by the merchant or locally. It offers coupons on electronics, restaurants, books, clothes, and toys.

The next site Smart Source only has 83 coupons as of right now, but they are printable and are all grocery items. You can use them at your local grocery store. You may have to download something to help print your coupons efficiently but it’s free and fast.

Deal Catcher finds deals. clearance, and coupons for use online AND in the store. They also have electronics, toys, games, clothes, food, and more. They also have a “Catch of the Day” that shows the best deal for that day. Today was 75% off Oakley sunglasses, so the deals are pretty great.

Promotional Codes is like a huge clearance and deal finder for airlines, restaurants, and even items like the other sites show. They have codes for free shipping, discounts, rebates and more. Give them a peek too.
